| Rocky came to us in October of 2010 for a second opinion on a very severe skin condition. He touched the heart of every staff member who met him. He had swollen, open and draining wounds all over him but greeted us with a tail wag and a kiss even though he was in excruciated pain. His owner was very concerned about him and we were too! After running some tests, Dr. Logue found the source of his skin condition. It was a severe fungal infection that was caused by Blastomyces spores in the ground. Rocky has been on continuous medicine since October and is making a slow but miraculous recovery. His spores have healed but he lost all of his hair in the process and it is just now starting to grow back. it has been a pleasure to watch him blossom into a healthy energetic dog but he still has that sweet, soft heart that we all saw when we first met him. Tracy is one of our best dog owners, investing a lot of time, energy and resources to bring Rocky back to health. Great job! | |
