Lilly is a Labrador mix and was adopted from HELP the Animals at 2 months of age by the Hensley Family. She is a high energy pup who loves to run and play ball outside with her boy!
On Mother’s Day of this year, Lilly got out of the yard and was hit by a car. She was immediately taken to a Care Center Emergency Clinic where she was treated for severe de-gloving injuries to both back paws. Lilly’s family was told she would need skin grafts on both back paws due to the severity of her injuries.
Lilly was released from the Care Center the following morning and brought to TLC for a follow up visit. After consulting with Drs. Logue, a treatment plan was made. It was decided that Lilly would start Laser Therapy treatments on her injuries to promote healing rather than having skin grafts done. After just a few treatments, Lilly’s wounds were visibly improving and within a month were healed! Today, Lilly’s injuries are completely unnoticeable. She is a happy and active pup again.
