Dr. Becky grew in up northern Indiana in LaGrange county. She was a 10 year 4-H member and started riding and showing horses at the age of 5. She competitively rode hunter/jumpers and did combined training on her thoroughbred horse throughout high school and college. By the time she was in 6th grade, she knew being a veterinarian was her future. She started working at various veterinary clinics during middle school and high school, and was accepted into Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Her focus was small animal and equine medicine, and she graduated alongside Jeff in 1997. After graduation, she worked in Fort Wayne Indiana at a mostly equine clinic and was there for 2 years. In 1999, she and Jeff were married, and she moved to Richmond and started working at Dayton Animal Hospital for the next several years until TLC Pet Hospital was started. Dr. Becky enjoys small animal medicine with a special interest in ophthalmology and wound healing. “I enjoy seeing how much love and fulfillment pets can bring to their owners, and I am privileged to be able to help keep their pets as healthy as I possibly can”.
Dr. Becky loves going to all the different animal shows with her family, and hopes to one day show horses again herself.
