Pain Management

How do you know if your pet is in pain?

Picture
Any change in behavior could be a sign of pain, including but not limited to:
  • limping
  • stiffness
  • aggression or defensive reactions when touched/petted
  • lethargy
  • unusual barking or meowing
  • unusual hiding or reluctance to move

Pain management has advanced in leaps and bounds over the past 15-20 years for our four-legged friends. We are happy to be able to offer and provide a wide range of options when it is time for you to help your canine or feline friend with pain management. Whether this pain is from a surgical procedure, an injury, a medical condition, or because he/she is getting older and suffering from arthritis, we are here to help you help them be more comfortable.

Since each pet is very different from the next, so are our options for treating and managing pain. Not all options will work for every pet and that is why we recommend a thorough exam to diagnose the source of the pain and set up a plan that is customized for your pets needs. Please feel free to contact our office with any questions or to schedule your pets exam to see if any of these options are right for you.
